Scope of work
1. Answerable to the Managing Director of Galaxy Aerospace (M) Sdn Bhd
2. Liaise with CAAM, DGTA or other authorities on matters pertaining to the maintenance and support of the aircraft fleet.
3. Organise and implement an approved planned audit program.
4. Co-ordinate audit activities by authorities/organization on company and follow up on implementations of audit recommendations.
5. Liaise with affected department/sections on audit reports.
6. Oversee the day to day functioning and operations of QA department.
7. Carry out data collection and Provide agenda for the six monthly Quality review Meeting.
8. To review training plan and conduct training to ensure currency of staff
9. Carry out any other tasks as directed by QAM.
Skills & Knowledge.
1. MUST be well versed with MCAR 2016 and AN 6101, 6102, 6501, etc.
2. Required language: Bahasa Malaysia, English
3. At least 2 years working experience in the related field

MAINTENANCE PLANNING OFFICER (1 Position)
Maintenance Planning Officer may be tasked with as part of their normal duties:
i. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining plans needed to accurately forecast future scheduled maintenance activities for all aircraft managed by GAM. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for coordinating maintenance requirements with the demands of daily operations. This position is responsible for preparing work packages for aircraft that remain overnight in maintenance stations and coordinating the plan to accomplish these work packages with Maintenance Control.
ii. Excellent communication skills to ensure that each element of your plan/schedule is understood by those who will implement it.
iii. A logical way of thinking will help organise each element into a feasible plan.
iv. Close attention to detail is important when monitoring your plan/schedule.
v. The ability to work well under pressure is essential in this fast-paced environment.
vi. You must be able to work on your own initiative and continually seek improvements.
vii. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise are essential.

TECHNICAL RECORDS AND PUBLICATION OFFICER (1 Position)
Technical Records and Publication Officer may be tasked with as part of their normal duties:
i. To support the requirements of Continued Airworthiness and Technical Support related to the administration and storage of data and aircraft records
ii. Continued Airworthiness and Technical Support tasks related to Technical Services and Technical Planning as required.
iii. Administration and storage of aircraft records, record keeping and amendment of aircraft files.
iv. Completion of Aircraft Log Books.
v. Updating of the Computerized Maintenance and Airworthiness System.
vi. Circulation and collation of evaluation forms for Service Bulletins, Component Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives and other Regulatory and manufacturers publications for presentation at Technical Review Meetings.
vii. Receipt and distribution of approved data.
viii. Assisting in the evaluation of processes that improve system reliability in conjunction with the aircraft manufacturers, equipment manufacturers/suppliers (including components), this includes SB’s, AD’s, SL’s and any other supplier documentation.
ix. Maintaining a database of information / history relevant to each aircraft and its systems/components that includes modification data, structural repair records and OEM SB’s, SL’s & AD’s.

TECHNICAL RECORDS AND PUBLICATION EXECUTIVE (1 Position)
Technical Records and Publication Executive may be tasked with as part of their normal duties:
i. Maintain and manage any records associated with the maintenance management or operation.
ii. Liaison with Maintenance Planning and Engineering Departments in particular in respect of component configuration and status.
iii. Support the performance of Airworthiness Reviews process to ensure correct availability of back to birth records for Continuing Airworthiness.
iv. Importation and Exportation of Aircraft Technical Records as required.
v. Perform QC Data checks of the various information’s which managed by the Technical records office and resolve any ambiguities, technical or other problems from Engineering, Operations and Crew.
vi. Perform Training and Mentoring to Technical Records support staff and junior administration staff regarding the correct functioning of the organisations procedures.
vii. good leadership skills to motivate your team and ensure they are performing efficiently.
viii. You will need the ability to process large volumes of data.
